When James Alma McGiboney was born on July 10, 1894, in White, Tennessee, his father, William, was 41 and his mother, Mary, was 27. He married Lorena "Rena" Burns and they had two children together. He then married Lillie Iva Berg and they had five children together. He died on July 20, 1984, in Beebe, Arkansas, at the age of 90.
