Linda Pharris Estep, 70, of Ozark; died Sunday, May 2, 2021, at her home. She was born Tuesday, July 11, 1950, at Huntsville; to Charlie and Katherine Keck Pharris.

Linda married James Estep on Saturday, January 22, 1966 at Huntsville; and together they were parents to three children. Her family and her music were her greatest loves. Linda pursued her passion for music and began a lengthy singing, performing, and recording career, until her passing. She began recording with the likes of producer Olin Franklin, with 3 Rivers Records producer Mickey Moody with Monkey Music ABC/DOT, Lyn Lou Studios of Memphis, Larry Rogers Studio 19 of Nashville, and most prominently with Sugar Hill Records of Houston. Recording under contract with Olin and Mickey, Linda released the singles, “Just Between You and Me” as well as “To Stop my Loving You” and “Butterflies of 75”. Linda also released the singles “Women Enough” as well as “I'm Always Missin’ You” with Ben Jacks Recording of Fort Smith. Linda's love of performing was not limited to the recording studio, she was also cast in the movie “The Blue and the Gray”, was a member of the Ozark Little Theatre, worked as a DJ for KZRK and with Fox TV 24/20 in Fort Smith. Linda created Studio E Recording in Ozark, and often recorded with her son Timothy.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Russ Pharris; and brother-in-law, Bill Green. She is survived by her husband, James Estep of the home; their son and son-in-law, Timothy Estep and James Hawkins of Coal Hill; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kimberly and Greg Snyder of Texas; and Joann Cain of Ft. Smith. She is also survived by three sisters and brother-in-law, Norma and Ike Labor, Bernice Green, and Kathy Pharris; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Karen Pharris of Bentonville; and Freddie and Sue Pharris of Hindsville.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, May 7, 2021, at Venus Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
