When Susan Ann King was born on August 28, 1846, in Union, Kentucky, her father, Henry, was 32, and her mother, Nancy, was 32. She married William Leander Farley on January 10, 1861, in Crittenden, Kentucky. They had two children during their marriage. She died on September 23, 1921, in Enola, Arkansas, at the age of 75, and was buried in Faulkner, Arkansas.
