FAYETTEVLLE — Kenneth Keith Hanshew, 79, of Fayetteville died May 18, 2002, at Fayetteville City Hospital. He was born Jan. 7, 1923, in Hunt Town to Vester and Louise Swafford Hanshew. He was a self-employed truck driver, and he was a Baptist.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie Hanshew of Springdale and Ken Hanshew of Bella Vista; one daughter, Cindy Hanshew Grimes of Fayetteville; one sister, Lula Faye Colclasure of Conway; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, with burial in Brentwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

FAYETTEVILLE — Virgie Hanshew of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 91 years old. Virgie was born on Feb. 14, 1926, in Fayetteville, Ark., to Henry and Cora Osburn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Hanshew; three brothers; and three sisters.

Virgie is survived by two sons, Ken Hanshew of Houston, Texas, and Ed Hanshew and wife Sheila of Springdale; daughter, Cindy Hanshew-Tew of Fayetteville; brother, Bill Osburn of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren; and many other loved ones.

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. at Moore's Chapel Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at Brentwood Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
