When Cynthia Ann Baker was born on March 25, 1889, in Whitley, Kentucky, her father, Davis, was 38, and her mother, Susan, was 36. She was married four times and had five sons and three daughters. She died on October 6, 1974, in Conway, Arkansas, at the age of 85, and was buried in Faulkner, Arkansas.
