WINSLOW — Lucille Bridges, 83, of Winslow died May 9, 2000, at her home.
She was born Jan. 29, 1917, in Tupelo (Jackson County) to William and Ruth Middlebrooks Nally.
She was a former employee of Campbell Soup in Fayetteville. She was a member of Winslow Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil R. Bridges, in 1998.
Survivors include one son, Dean Bridges of Millington, Mich., one stepdaughter, Betty Fowler of Carpenterville, Ill.; one brother, Arthur Nally of Springdale; five sisters, Ruby Garrison of Elkins, Fairies Roberts of Fayetteville, Lorene Chesier of Winslow, Norene Young of Newport and Janet Powell of Dowagiac, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at noon Friday at Brentwood Cemetery with J.R. Dockery officiating.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. today at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Washington Regional Hospice.
