Robert Hardin Martin, 74, of Jacksonville died Monday, February 26, 2018. He was born August 20, 1943 in Conway to the late Charlie Columbus and Violet Maudie Sellers Martin. Mr. Martin worked for the City of Jacksonville street department where he retired as a supervisor. In addition to his parents, Mr. Martin was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Peterson, brothers; Bobby Tullos, Jimmy Martin and Avery Martin, great granddaughter, Lily Scott and son-in-law, Bill Scott.
Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Martin of Jacksonville, children; Stacey Martin and Sonya Killebrew, both of Jacksonville and Cheryl Scott of Cabot, siblings; Martha New and Harold Martin, grandchildren; Matthew Killebrew, Brent Scott, Casey Martin, Kristen Killebrew and Alicia Martin and great grandchildren; Brodyn and Ryan Scott and Arya Martin.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home (501)982-2136. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with burial following at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
