WEST FORK — Joe Wayne Coker, age 70, of West Fork left this world on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013. He was born Aug. 18, 1942, in Fayetteville, the son of James and Beatrice Coker.

He was preceded in death by parents; and two daughters, Patty Coker and Twyana Coker.

Joe retired from Fayetteville Mechanical. He loved to hunt and fish and go to yard sales with his beloved wife.

For those of us who were blessed by his presence and his ability to always make those around him happy, we will always love and miss him forever.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Rose Coker; four daughters, Debby Brown and Mary Webb, both of Springdale, Pam Coker of Kansas and Kathy Boston of Van Buren; six sons, Melvin Cotton of Springdale, Donald Cotton of Springdale, Kenny Self, David Self and Darrell Self, all of Tulsa, Okla., and Jim Coker of Kansas; a sister, Janis Ackley of West Fork; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him so much.

Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, at Moore's Chapel.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel, with burial at Zinnamon Cemetery at West Fork.

Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
