HUNTSVILLE — Plese Arthur Cornett, 100, of Huntsville died May 22, 2008, at Earlene Howard
Hospice Home in Springdale.
He was born Jan. 19, 1908, in Venus to Sam and Rosetta Pruitt Cornett.
He was a farmer and an Army Air Force Veteran. He lived most of his life near the Wharton Creek community.
Survivors include a sister, Mattie Parson of Huntsville; a sister-in-law, Dalphia Cornett of Huntsville.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Venus Cemetery with the Rev. Butch Bolinger officiating.
Arrangements are by Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Cornett, Keith Cornett, Gary Cornett, Bubby Spurlock, Darby Spurlock and Calvin Powell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Cornett, Jimmy Cornett, Kent Cornett, Carmon Cornett, Paul Seveik, Michael Madison, Jasper Spradling and the Countryside staff.
Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, 72762.
