Robert F. Gryder, 97, of El Dorado, AR passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, at Timberlane Health and Rehab in El Dorado, AR.
Robert was born November 28, 1923 in El Dorado, AR to the union of Dan Gryder and Bessie Williams Gryder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 72 years, Lovie F. Gryder.
Robert was retired from Monsanto and in later years became a minster and preached until he was 87. He was a member of Lou Ann Baptist Church and Northwest Baptist Church, and was a veteran of the US Marine Corps.
Survivors include his daughter, Sheila Beth Mosley and husband Rocky, one son, Danny Gryder and wife Connie, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A private graveside service was held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the Urbana Cemetery with Rev. Sye Duke officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Northwest Baptist Church, 5410 N. West Ave. El Dorado, AR 71730
