Elli Marianne Young, age 74, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2015. She was born January 7, 1941 in Germany to the late Wilhemlm Dittlinger and Helen Biegel Dittlinger. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Sherman Lee Young Sr. and was a faithful member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Jacksonville. She worked for many years at Dillard's Department Store and retired from Southwest Airlines in 2006. Marianne was an avid dancer, world traveler and loving mother who could often be found spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time meeting with her German American Club friends, or outside gardening and spending time with her dog Schatzi. She is survived by two siblings, Christel Schulz and Wolfgang Dittlinger of Germany, two sons Sherman Young Jr. of Anchorage, AK, Steve Young (Sherry) of Cabot, AR and one daughter Daniela Rose (Mike) of Jacksonville, AR. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Dean Young, Cameron Young, Michael Rose Jr., Kristen Young, Stephanie Young, and two great- grandchildren, Cameron young Jr. and Theophilia Leon , a host of nieces, nephews and her companion Tom Mongno. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at First Church of the Nazarene with Reverend Greg Armstrong officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. prior to funeral service. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene or Jacksonville Humane Society Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home & Crematory (501)-982-2136.
