Harold Dennis Hendricks, 60, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. Dennis was born in Winters, Texas on March 28, 1952 to Harold Purcell Hendricks and Hazel Murphy Roberts.

After retiring from Lycus Ltd., he became the owner of Hendricks Oil Company. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and an active Mason for many years. He will always be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather, and a loyal friend.

Dennis is preceded by his parents Hazel Murphy Roberts and Harold Purcell Hendricks.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Hendricks of El Dorado, Arkansas, and his two daughters, April (Chad) Killcreas of Bay Minette, Alabama, and Ashley (Pearson) Windham of Oxford, Mississippi, along with his three grandchildren Pearson, John Colvin, Anna Carlisle Windham. He will also be missed by his three brothers, David Hendricks of Magnolia Arkansas, Guy Hendricks and Bobby Hendricks, both of Urbana, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Tuesday night February 12, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Young’s Funeral Directors.

Graveside services will be held at Urbana Cemetery Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Tommy Nash officiating, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Department of Lymphoma, at P.O. Box 4486, Houston TX 77210.
