SPRINGDALE — Daryl Max Hawkins died at his home in Springdale on Nov, 13, 2010. He was born Jan. 25, 1946, in Prairie Grove, to Alfred and Jewel Parker Hawkins.
He was raised in Combs and finished high school at St. Paul. He was a commercial and residential painting contractor in and around Northwest Arkansas for 33 years, known as A-1 Painting. He and his wife also owned and operated several video stores. He enjoyed playing his guitar, country music, camping, fishing and family get-togethers. He was a very simple man, hardworking, honest; his handshake was his word. His life was an adventure, he loved it, and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Hawkins; his parents; two brothers, Ray and J.D. Hawkins; two sisters, Faye Payton and Veneda Pope.
He is survived by his wife of the home, Sally Haney Floyd Hawkins; four sons, Chris Hawkins and wife, Darleen, of Wesley, Robert Floyd and wife, Carol, of Fayetteville, Samuel Floyd and wife, Tamara, of Bella Vista, and John Floyd and wife, Alicia, of Bentonville; a daughter, Robin Jeter and husband, Mark, of Greenland; a brother, William Hawkins and wife, Donna, of Patrick; two sisters, Lorena VanBrunt and husband, Johnny, of Delaney, and Jeannie Alexander and husband, Don, of Springdale; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at the Bentonville Cemetery, with the Rev. James Anderson officiating, under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
There will be no visitation.

SPRINGDALE — Sally Haney Floyd Hawkins, 83, of Springdale passed away Aug. 26, 2015. Born in Macon Co., Mo. March 3, 1932, to Arnold & Opal Haney.
A member of Jehovah's Witnesses and loved to talk to people. She loved her brothers & sisters dearly.
She was a loving mother and she loved her family very much. She was the rock of our family and will be missed.
She was preceded in death by husband Daryl Hawkins, stepson Jeff Hawkins, three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by five children, Robert Floyd & wife Carol of Fayetteville. Daughter Robin Jeter & husband Mark of Fayetteville. Samuel Floyd & wife Tamara of Bella Vista. John Floyd & wife Alicia of Bentonville. Stepson Chris Hawkins & wife Mary of Fayetteville. 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Memorial service will be Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1738 Pinewoods Rd., Springdale, Ark.
Graveside service will be at Bentonville Cemetery Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at 3 p.m. in Bentonville, Ark. Speaker will be Stephen Trueblood.
