John Paul Adams, age 71, of Houston, Arkansas, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019. He was born April 24, 1948 in Long Beach, California, a son of Irving Paul Adams and Helen Louise Barnett Adams. He served in the Marines for 4 years, with a tour in Vietnam, and retired as First Sergeant in the Army National Guard. He was a member of Houston Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Caldwell Adams of Houston; sons, Jeremy Paul Adams of Houston and Jeffery Philip Adams of Conway; daughter, Allison Leigh Adams of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Gracie Marie Adams of Benton; great grandson, Liam Pontius III of Benton; and brother, Frederick Lee Adams of Memphis, Tennessee.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, at Houston Baptist Church with Bro. Jeremy Williams officiating. Burial will be at Ragsdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
