Mr. Eugene Westbrook 79 of Clarksville passed from this life Wednesday September 3, 2014 at Johnson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Westbrook was born October 23, 1934 in Cooke County, Texas to Edgar and Jewel Westbrook. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Alline Belknap. Mr. Westbrook was an avid gardener and was known by many in Johnson County as THE VEGETABLE MAN, he also loved to fish with his grandkids, and was a retired general contractor. Mr. Westbrook leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years Patricia: 4 sons Eddie Westbrook and Sheila Wilson of Colorado, Regan and wife Melissa of Fort Smith, Kit and wife Cindy and Kris and wife Angela all of Clarksville; two daughters Lana and husband Dean Siemens of Tennessee, and Lisa and husband Larie Adair of Texas; three brothers Doyle and wife Dean,Dave and Aldon and wife Marqulita all of Texas; one sister Jenette Duggar also of Texas; one brother in law Gary and wife Doris Byrne of Texas; twenty grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He is also survived my many other family members and friends. He will be missed by many. Visitation will be Friday September 5, 2014 at 6PM till 8PM at Clarksville Funeral Home Chapel, 510 West Cherry Street, Service will be 10 AM Saturday September 6, 2014 also at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Kendell Cemetery. Keith and Jeremy Avaritt will be officiating. Grandsons will serve as casket bearers.
