Jerry Lee Harris, Sr. “Popeye” 67, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at his home.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Edgar and Golda Marie (Fox) Harris; a sister, Judy Solley; and brothers, Ken, Eugene and Clifton Harris.

Funeral service will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Hays Chapel Cemetery in Johnson County, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Harris of the home; three daughters, Twana Sue Smith of Springdale, Carlotta Anita Marie Engel and husband Nick of Lavaca, and Paula Beatrice Coughran and husband Chris of Uniontown; a son, Jerry Lee Harris, Jr and wife Christy of Fort Smith; two sisters, Joyce Lamproe and husband Floyd of Van Buren and Barbara Honea of Van Buren; four brothers, Bill Harris and wife Kathy of Fort Smith, Dennis Harris and wife Glenda of Van Buren, Roger Harris and wife Sonya of Alma, and Steve Harris of Fort Smith; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Marcus Daws, Michael Engel, Kaleb Daws, B.J. Smith, Christopher Coughran, Dakota McGrew, Colby Harris, Kendra Coughran, Nate McGrew and Levi Coughran.
