Baker -Gaster Cemetery
Established 1869
*LaRhonda's note: This cemetery is also known as the Courtney Cemetery. As you enter the road that leads to the cemetery, On the right side is a sign that says Baker-Gaster Cemetery (shown in this photo). On the left side is another sign that says Courtney Cemetery. The Baker-Gaster sign states that the cemetery was established in 1869. "Drew County, Arkansas Cemetery Records" by Drew County Extension Homemakers Council (1982) states that there are unmarked graves in this cemetery.
The oldest marked grave is that of John B. Baker, who died in 1869.
