Grover (Ricky) Kirksey, Jr. left for his eternal home in heaven on October 17, 2014. He was 64 years old. He was a veteran, a nurse by trade and a faithful member of First Assembly of God Church. Grover loved music, had a beautiful voice and played the trumpet. He was a kind and loving person. Grover is preceded in death by his mother, Vera Elizabeth Kirksey and two brothers; Frank M. Wilson and Paul E. Garner. Survivors include his wife, Marsha Elaine Murders Kirksey; father and step- mother, Rev. Grover C. (Pauline) Kirksey, Sr.; two daughters, Tara (Marcus) Simpson and Heather Davis; two brothers, Jimmy (Nan) Wilson and Rev. Steve (Linda) Garner; three sisters, Jan (Jeff) Saunders, Marilyn (Rev. T L) Wilborn and Tolen (Arthur) Thomas; one sister n law, Shirley Wilson; four grandsons, Justin, Kenyin, Brenden and Davian; one granddaughter, Allie. A memorial service will be held Wednesday October 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Larry Burton officiating.
