Ruth L. McIntosh, 70, of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013. She was born June 25, 1943, in Portland, Ark.

She was a former bus monitor with First Step School and a member of Eureka Baptist Church where she was a member of the pastor staff, hospitality committee and volunteer committee.

She was predeceased by her parents, Felix and Lovella Brown King; and sisters, Ruby Jones and Essie Ward.

Survivors include daughters, Sharon McIntosh, Phyllis McIntosh, Julruthia McIntosh; son, Julius McIntosh Jr.; brother, Charles King; aunts, Julia Jackson, Rose Graves, Essie Strickland; her children's father, Julius McIntosh Sr.; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Eureka Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Lake officiating.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at Hot Springs Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Lake officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Randy Early, Jakendell Lacy, Johnny Meadows, Jimmy Meadows and Joshua McIntosh.

The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice and Mercy Hospital for the care and compassion that was given to our mother and the family.

Arrangements are by Hot Springs Funeral Home.
