Sherrill “Gene” Cook 67, of Hot Springs passed away Friday, December 7, 2011. He was born August 9, 1943 in Hot Springs to the late, Lona Lois Jackson and James Frank Cook. Survivors include one sister, Frances (Ralph) Schultz of Hot Springs; an uncle, Willis Jackson of Hot Springs; one niece, Kelly (Gary) Beckwith of Hot Springs ,one nephew, Kevin (Cheryl) Thornton of Hot Springs, seven great nieces and nephews and many friends. A visitation will be held 2:00 – 4:00, Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Hot Springs Funeral Home. His wishes were to be donated to Medical Science. The family would like to thank, Dr. Robert Muldoon, Crown Trace staff and Arkansas Hospice. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, Hot Springs
