THOMAS P. ENGLES - U.S. Navy Veteran
November 17, 1926 - July 29, 2021

Thomas P. Engles, 94 of White Hall passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Maumelle. He was born November 17, 1926 in Salado, Arkansas to Joel June and Virgie May (Huff) Engles. He was a longstanding civil service employee with the Department of Defense and the FDA. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of White Hall United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Billie (Hunter) Engles; brother, Ben Joe Engles and sister, Billie Jean Pearce.

Survivors include daughter, Teresa Shaddock and husband Joe of Maumelle; granddaughter, Melissa McCarty and husband Matt of Fayetteville; grandson, Michael Shaddock and wife Maeve of Little Rock; great grandchildren, Asher McCarty, Austyn McCarty and Wyatt McCarty and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Egner Cemetery in Salado with Rev. John Mark Moore officiating. Arrangements are by Qualls Batesville Funeral Service of Batesville.
