Robert "Bobby" Charles Durning, age 65 of Ozark, Arkansas died Saturday, April 24, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was self-employed and attended West Park Baptist Church in Ozark. He was born February 3, 1956 in Ozark to Bobbie "Mack" Maxel and Wanda Faye Waits Durning. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Danny Wayne Durning; and his grandparents, Robert and Nellie Durning.
He is survived by his significant other, Liby Yates; a son, Kiley Durning and wife Christy; a daughter, Lindsey Marie Vest and husband Jason, all of Ozark; two brothers, Michael Durning and Todd Durning both of Ozark; one sister, Nina Lee of Paris, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Jeremy and Kyle White, Spencer and Aubrey Jane Durning, and Hadleigh Jo and Paxton Vest; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 West Commercial Street in Ozark.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Shaffer Funeral Home with Brother Troy Vaughn officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home, burial will be at Belt Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kent Yates, Roy, David Hill, Tommy Chancery, Randy McClain and Johnny Ray Rogers. Honorary Pallbearers will be The OHS Class of 1974, Buffalo Leding and his nephews.
