J.T. Chesser was born on September 17, 1934 in Hunt, Arkansas to Searcy and Pearl Mae Ross Chesser. He passed away on January 2, 2020 in Paris, Arkansas at the age of 85. He was an Army Veteran and a retired mechanic.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maxine Robinson Chesser; and his sister, Marie Russell.

He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Ann Cox (Michael) of Clarksville, Arkansas; Sandra Susan Robinson of Conway, Arkansas; his brother, Eugene Chesser of Clarksville, Arkansas; his sisters, Evelyn Metzker of Clarksville, Arkansas; Ann Yates of Dardanelle, Arkansas; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the Hardwicke Chapel.

A graveside service is 2 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2020 at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Hunt, Arkansas with Reverend Robbie Jackson officiating. Pallbearers are James Cox, Hunter Whitanack, Mike Whitanack, Mark Robinson, Jamey Chesser, and Scott Peterson.

Maxine
January 11, 1936 - September 21, 2017

Maxine Chesser was born January 11, 1936 in Catalpa, Arkansas and passed away September 21, 2017 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 81. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Rosa Bell Cowan Robinson, and two sisters, Virgie Lee Robinson and Lorene Nayes.

Survivors include her husband, J.T. Chesser of Clarksville; two daughters: Susan Robinson of Knoxville, Arkansas and Pamela Cox and husband, Mike, of Clarksville; a sister, Mozelle Cowan of Lamar; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, September 25, 2017 at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, with Reverend Amos Pledger officiating.

Pallbearers will be Jamey Chesser, Michael Whitkanack, Hunter Whitkanack, James Cox, Robbie Peterson, and Scott Peterson.
