Nancy Catherine Shreve, 89, died this morning in a Springdale nursing home. She was a resident of Farmington and the widow of Walter Shreve, former county official. She was born April 22, 1875, in Green County, Mo. the daughter of James Monroe and Sarah Elizabeth Williams Robertson. She moved to Arkansas in the Double Spring Community when she was 12. Her great-grandfather, Lindsey Robertson was a pioneer settler in Green County, Mo. She was married to Walter Shreve 70 years ago. She was a charter member of both Providence Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Farmington. Survivors include one son, Ralph of Farmington; one brother Walter Buckner Robertson of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Marie Schuyler of Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. Lucy Phillips of Farmington; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Arrangements will be announced by Moore's Chapel.
