FAYETTEVILLE — William Franklin Shreve, age 86, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in Fayetteville. He was born May 29, 1926, in Farmington, Ark., to Ralph and Janie Bell (Wilson) Shreve.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Theda Owanna Shreve; two sisters, Joan Shreve Pruett and Mary Waurika Shreve Porter; and one brother, Ralph Shreve Jr.

He was owner and operator of Shreve Logging.

He is survived by his daughter, Karen Inman of Fayetteville; three sons, Shay Grant Shreve and his wife, Linda of Springdale, Keith Shreve and his wife, Renita of Fayetteville and John Shreve and his wife, Kay of Prairie Grove, Ark.; one sister, Catherine Foster of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren, Heather, Kimberly, Trina, Andrea, Amber, Courtney, Zachary, Stephanie, Tiffany, Brittany and Franklin; and five great-grandchildren, Grant, Will, Isabell, Anna Karen and Addison.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today, March 15, 2013, at Moore's Chapel.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Moore's Chapel with burial at Farmington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview, Fayetteville, AR 72703.
