SPRINGDALE — Edna Faye McConnell, 44, of Springdale died July 28, 2004, at her home.
She was born Oct. 24, 1960, in Angleton, Texas, to George Allen Rutherford and Jenny Lee Baker.
She was employed by area nursing homes as a certified nurse's assistant for more than 21 years.
She was preceded in death by two children, Jessica Lynn and Michael Alan Horton.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy McConnell of the home; one daughter, Judy Gutierrez and husband Jesus Gutierrez Lopez of Springdale; one stepdaughter, Melba Burks and husband Randy of Wesley; one son, Bruce Allan Horton of Van Buren; her mother of Van Buren; three grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Thorpe Cemetery in Fayetteville with Chaplain Paul Woodhouse officiating. Arrangements are by Beard's Funeral Chapel, Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Randy Burks, Jason Elkins, Jim Blood, Roberta Lyons, Derek Hoff Jesus Gutierrez.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tanner Burks and Justin Reading.
