William Duane Clay, 26 of McGehee, passed away Sunday at his home. He was born May 4, 1994 in Hemphill, Texas to the late William Clay Jr. and Sharon Russell.
He loved to fish, write, draw and loved music of all kinds. William was a handworker and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
He is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rev. C.W. and Betty Yarberry and paternal grandparents, William Clay Sr. and Duane Hamman.
Survivors include, Step Father, James Russell of Tillar, Grandmother, Edith Hamman of Bearden, four sisters, Jenifer Galvin of Star City, Ashley Healey (Ronald) of Camden, Rachel Thompson (Robert) of McGehee, Cassie Slavings (Keith) of Woodson. He is also survived by Six Nieces, Five Nephews and many extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 PM till funeral time at the funeral home. Services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
