July 10, 1924 - June 18, 2013
Veta Marie Long, 88, of Rogers, formerly of Charleston, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013, in Rogers.
She was born July 10, 1924, in Ozark to the late James and Mary Edith Pippen Thomas.
She was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Home Extension Club.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith Mortuary Chapel with burial following at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Smith Mortuary in Charleston.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Mary Clardy of Avoca and Nina Lynch and husband Allen of Rogers; two sons, Larry Long of Rogers and Ron Long of Springdale; two sisters, Jenelle Rice of Fort Smith and Bonnie Thomas of Fayetteville; nine grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
