Archie Wayne Barnett, age 64, of Ozark, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was a carpenter and a retired welder for Correll. Wayne served in the Arkansas National Guard and was of the Baptist Faith. He was born July 25, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William Barnett and Ruby Dell Nichols. He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Tom and Ollie Walker.
He is survived by his mother; stepdad, James Peters; his companion of eight years, Rhonda Regan; a daughter, Delana Thornton; a grandson, Darren Wayne Thornton; a stepson, Dylan Regan; three sisters, Jayne Williams, Tootie Matsler and Debbie Nichols; and one brother, Ricky Bearden.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday March 12, 2021 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 West Commercial Street, Ozark.
Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery with Reverend James Larabell officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Sory, David Matsler, Terry Walker, Larry Walker Dylan Regan and Darren Thornton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marty Cappes, T.J Walker, Dale Walker and Brince Plymale.
