Billy Gene Kuykendall, age 88, of Ratcliff, Arkansas died Monday, February 1, 2021in Paris, Arkansas. He was a retired floor inspector at Whirlpool Corp of Fort Smith, a member of the United States Steel Workers and a veteran of the United States Army. He was born September 10, 1932 in Paris to Odes L. Kuykendall and Alma A. Sewell. He is preceded in death by his parents; a son, Steven Kuykendall; two brothers, Lonnie Kuykendall and Charles Kuykendall; and two sisters, Pauline Kuykendall and Lorena Buckner.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia McElroy Kuykendall of Ratcliff; a daughter, Andrea L. Johnson of Mulberry, Arkansas; a brother in-law, Albert McElroy of Alma, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Johnny L. Kuykendall and wife Kayla of Miami, Oklahoma and Stephannie Kuykendall of Greenwood, Arkansas; and one great grandchild, Alainah Alldredge of Greenwood.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Cemetery Ridge Cemetery in Ozark with C.A. Kuykendall officiating under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Open viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 3, 2021at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 West Commercials Street, Ozark.
