Mr. Buddy Lee Kiser, age 75 of Mountain Home passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 at his home. Buddy was born January 19, 1935 in Minneapolis, Kansas to Wayne and Louisa (Smith) Kiser. He married Betty Mae Nance on June 25, 1955 in Denver, Colorado. Buddy earned a BA degree in Education from Colorado State College of Education and a Masters of Human Relations from Webster University. He retired as a major after serving 21 years in the US Air Force, flying the B52, B58, and F4 Phantom. He served in Korea and Vietnam where he flew 127 missions. He earned silver stars, oak leaf clusters and was awarded honorary Chinese Air Force wings. Locally, Bud taught 10 years as an adult education GED instructor. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. Buddy was a member of First United Methodist Church. Bud enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, gardening, reading, and traveling the world with his wife, Betty.

Buddy Kiser is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home; daughter Kimberly (Derek) Davis of Sparta, MO and children Trey, Morgan, and Landon; daughter Cherri (Greg) Jacques of Sapulpa, OK and children Della and Ashley; daughter Carrie ( Kevin) Sherrill of Junction City, KS and daughters Emily and Veronica; daughter Renee (Richard) Clark of Clermont, FL and her daughter Venessa; a brother: Dewayne (Dee) Kiser of Delphos, Kansas and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service with military honors will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday in the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Ludwig officiating. Entombment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens' Columbarium of Serenity. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or First United Methodist Church.
