Raymond LeRoy Hawes, was reunited in Heaven with his bride of 64 years, Bonnie Mae (Rooker), on February 13, 2019 surrounded by family. He was 88 years old. "Ray" was born on May 7, 1930 in Wilmore, Ky. to William Hawes and Elizabeth Schuster. He was the middle child of his siblings.
Ray was preceded in death by his older brothers, William "Bill" and Robert "Bob"; and his younger sister, Helen Bissantz. Ray is survived by his youngest brother, Donald "Don" and Don's wife, Laura of Manhattan, Kan. Ray and Bonnie adopted two children, Mike (Kathy) and Ricky (Karen), before completing their family with the birth of their daughter, Renee Phillips (Rick). He was blessed with nine grandkids and seven great-grandkids.
Ray was very humble and quiet natured, but he made his family proud through hard work and servitude to his family and Heavenly Father. He was a navy veteran and a loyal member of Good Shepherd Evangelical and Holy Trinity Lutheran churches. A talented craftsman and gardener, he was always happy to share his knowledge with his kids and grandkids with a patient attitude. He was a truly wonderful man and will be greatly missed.
Burial was at Little Flock Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services in Rogers. Online condolences may be made to stockdale-moodyfs.com.

Bonnie Hawes, 83, of Little Flock, Ark. died, November 7, 2016 in Springfield, Mo. She was born June 5, 1933 to Loran and Bertha Diers Rooker. She faithfully attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Raymond L. Hawes; two children, Mike Hawes and Renee Phillips; two granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers with Pastor Randy Moll officiating. Burial will follow in Little Flock Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time. Arrangements by Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services.
