OBIT

Annie Grace Carson, 70, of Cabot, passed away December 23, 2019. She was born January 11, 1949 in Little Rock to the late Alvah Hildreth and Melva Evelyn Kincaid Cook. Annie graduated from Little Rock Central High School and Arkansas State University-Beebe. Her career spanned thirty years with the Arkansas Department of Vital Records and ended with her retirement as the Assistant Director. Annie loved to dance, scuba dive and cook, but spending time with her grandchildren was her favorite thing to do. In addition to her parents, Annie was preceded in death by her husband, George Samuel Carson; son, Dewayne J Carson; sisters, Patricia Ann Claghorn and Hilda Evelyn Moses and brother, William David Cook.

Survivors include her daughter, Sonya L. Tinkle of Cabot; four grandchildren, Desiree O. Tinkle, Benjamin C. Tinkle, Mara Para and Danielle Collins; two great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian Diana Cook-Scritchfield of El Dorado; daughter-in-law, Kathy Carson of Russellville and friend, James Eubanks.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2019 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home with Jeff Jasso officiating. Arrangements by Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
