OBIT

MSGT James “Jim” Allen McMullin, USAF Retired, age 87, of Beebe passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 16, 2018. He was born on October 14, 1930 in Leigh, Nebraska to the late Robert and Genevieve Whinnery McMullin. Jim was a Korean War veteran serving in the Air Force as an aircraft instructor. He was a longtime member of Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville where he was active in MAC group before moving to Beebe. After his relocation he became a member of First Baptist Church of Beebe where he attended faithfully. Jim was very proud of his participation in Heifer International. Upon retirement he spent his time as a carpenter and enjoyed woodworking. Jim was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his daughters, Betty Frost.

Jim is survived by his wife, Pat Liles McMullin; daughters, Genece (Keith Kalminski) Vail, and Jamie (Bruce) Hall; three grandchildren, Michelle (Cricket) Jordan, Cory Hall, and Cari (Chandy) McCormick-Hall; three great-grandchildren, Scott (Brie) Malone, John Jordan, and Silas McCormick-Hall; one great-great-grandchild, Joesess Malone; four step-children, Tessa (Todd) Ashley, Grant Goff, ClayJon (Angela) Goff, Pansy (Paul) Lauderdale; seven step-grandchildren, Chris Goff, Lauren (Scott) Gunter, Derreck Goff, Guy and Sydney Goff, Noah and Avery Goff; two step-great-grandchildren, Landen and Elle Gunter; one sister, Laurel Joyce; one nephew, Scott Joyce.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home officiated by Brother Cliff Hutchins. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 at the funeral home. Arrangements entrusted to Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home 501-982-2136.
