March 19, 1936 - January 19, 2017
James Marlon Duffel, age 80 passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at his home near Fredericktown, Missouri. He was born on March 19, 1936 in Seneath, Missouri a son of Cleveland and Lucey (Wallace) Duffel.
On May 5, 1956 in Kennett, Missouri he was united in marriage to Annie Lou McCaig. se survives in Fredericktown. Other survivors include: one son - Terry Duffel Sr. of Fredericktown; two daughters - Sandra (Tracy) Dodson of Hillsboro, Missouri and Pam (Dave) Campbell of Wappapello, Missouri; five grandchildren - Tisha Whitney, T.J. Duffel Jr., Lee Wiley, Matt Wiley and Kenny Simpson and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter - Melissa Duffel; one son - Scott Duffel; two brothers and six sisters.
James had been a welder for the St. Louis ship yard; he enjoyed hunting and fishing and was of the Baptist faith.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m, Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Wilson Funeral Home with a graveside service at 3:30 p.m., on Monday at the Opposition Cemetery in Ravenden, Arkansas with Bro. Cory McCaig officiating.
