Freddie Ray Rush, 69, of Fayetteville Arkansas, was born July 14, 1951 and went to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, November 2, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman “Hap” Rush and Rosa Lee Barron; his brother, Eddie Rush; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Rush.

Freddie loved life and making others happy. He never met a stranger as he could talk with anyone. Most people if asked would always remember him with a smile on his face and his little laugh that he always did. He loved the outdoors especially deer hunting and fishing but loved all things that Mother Nature provided such as seeing flowers bloom, gardens grow and his fascination with all types of birds.

He is survived by his children, daughter, Brenda “Sissy” DeShields and husband Keith of Springdale; a son, Johnny Ray Rush and wife Dea of Lincoln; 3 grandchildren, Keeshia DeShields, Holly Smith and Josh DeShields; 2 great-grandchildren, Samuel and Macey Smith; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Freddie will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 2:00pm, Stuckey Cemetery, Johnson, Arkansas with Pastor Paul Young officiating.

The family will be having a celebration of life after the funeral from 3:30pm-7:00pm at the home of Keith and Brenda DeShields for all that would like to attend or drop in.
