Anthony John Guinto was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He went to be with the Lord October 19th, 2016 after completing an amazing life on earth and peacefully passing surrounded by people who loved him.

Tony was born on June 18th 1929 in Syracuse, New York. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Angela (Picciotto) Guinto. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. During his service he met and married Betty (Allen) Guinto and was married for 58 years. After many years of working and retiring from the US Postal Service, he spent time on various hobbies, caring for his family, and playing with his grandsons.

Tony will be missed but never forgotten. He is survived and celebrated by his son Joe Guinto of Tulsa, his daughter and son-in-law Tonya and Beau Boomershine, and his grandsons Wyatt and Hank. Three sisters Angela (Louis) Romano, Nicoletta (Fred) Schimpff, and Rosemary (Charles Perolla) Shaver, and a brother-in-law Frank Cutrone all of Syracuse, NY. A brother and sister-in-law James and Erma Cherry of Alpharetta, GA and many nieces and nephews.

Service 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 24, 2016, Moore�s Eastlawn Chapel, Moore�s Eastlawn Chapel 918-622-1155. Interment is at the Dickson Cemetery in Cherokee City, AR

Betty Lea Guinto passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010. She was born December 27, 1934, to Jim and Babe (Earp) Allen in Colcord, OK. Longtime resident of Tulsa and married to Anthony J. Guinto for 58 years. She retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a member of 29th & Yale Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by both her father and mother; two sisters Opal Ellis, Lula "Dinky" Allen; and one brother, Hayden Allen. She is survived by her husband, Tony; son, Joey Guinto of Tulsa; daughter, Tonya and husband Beau Boomershine of Broken Arrow, OK; two grandsons, Wyatt and Hank Boomershine of Broken Arrow, OK; one sister and brother-in-law, Erma and James Cherry of Tulsa; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A wonderful wife, mother, and Nonni who will be in our hearts forever. Funeral Service will be held 1 PM, Thursday, March 4, 2010, at Colcord Church of Christ in Colcord, Oklahoma with interment at Dickson Cemetery in Cherokee City, Arkansas. Under the Direction of Moore's Eastlawn Chapel.
