Franklin Pierce Swinford, 76, died last night at his home on W. 16. He was born in Searcy County, Oct. 2, 1886 and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include the widow Nancy; three sons, John of the home, Othel of Fayetteville and Ray of Summers; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Yocham of Haskell, Okla. and one brother, Jack Swinford of Arvin, Calif.
Arrangements will be announced by Moore's Chapel.

Mrs. Nancy Elda Swinford, 87, of West Fork died Friday in a local nursing home. Born Dec. 31, 1889 at Dardanelle, she was the daughter of Johnny and Sarah Scott Englebright. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Yocham of Haskell, Okla.; three sons, John of the home, Otho of West Fork and Ray of Summers; 11 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Funeral Chapel with burial in the Farmington Cemetery.
