Robert Wendel Estes, 75 of Cabot, passed away September 9, 2020 at his home. He was born January 1, 1945 in Newark, AR. Robert was a 1963 graduate of Jacksonville High School. He retired from the Jacksonville Post Office. Robert served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged from the Army as a Staff Sergeant. He received two Bronze Stars, a Purple Heart and an Army Good Conduct Medal. Robert was also a member of First Baptist Church of Cabot. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmie Estes; three sisters, Ella Rae Bishop, Bobbie Hall, and Lorene Michaelis.

Robert is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debbie Estes; two daughters, Shannon Estes Staton (Shannon Joel) and Sherrie Estes Niece (Bobby). Robert was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, Caden and Callen Niece, Spencer and Saylor Staton and a special great-niece, Paisley Wallis. Robert is also survived by a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville. Arrangements by Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136
