Betty Crawford, 86, of Jacksonville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Betty was born December 28, 1928 in Toronto, Ohio to the late Arthur and Edith (Stock) Devlin. She lived in the Ohio Valley area most of her life before retiring with her late husband Albert D. Crawford in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Betty worked as a nursing assistant for over 20 years caring for the sick and elderly at Jacksonville Nursing Home. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Albert Crawford, two sons, David P. Cruse, Richard D. Crawford and one sister Helene Romey. Betty will be deeply missed by her family, children, James Arthur Cruse of Glouster, Virginia, Kathleen Dianne Cisler, son-in-law Richard Cisler of New Matamoras, Ohio, Robert Russell Crawford of Blacklick, Ohio, Joyce Mitchell, son-in-law Kenneth E. Mitchell of Jacksonville, Arkansas, two brothers, one sister, eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Jackson officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until service time. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home & Crematory (501) 982-2136.
