FAYETTEVILLE — Kelly Ross Tyra, 54, of Fayetteville died Dec. 30, 2003, at his home. He was born July 10, 1949, in Long Beach, Calif., to William and Joyce Holt Tyra.
He was an oil rig tool pusher and had worked for Tyson Foods for seven years. He was a Presbyterian and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Winters Tyra; one daughter, Tiffany Tyra of the home.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Thorp Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
