Donna Elisha Ponder, 58, of Lisbon, AR earned her wings on March 3, 2020 at her home.
Donna was born December 27, 1961 in Mobile, AL to the late Margielee Annette Teal.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother Gary Williams.
Donna was an avid gardener and a devoted mother and wife. She was so very proud of her three granddaughters. Her belief in God was rock solid. She was baptized early in life at Ebenezer Baptist Church. She spoke often of meeting Jesus in Heaven and now her dream has come true.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Johnny Ponder, one son, John Ponder, one daughter, Rachal Berry, three granddaughters, Alice Berry, Bethany Berry and Mandi Berry, two brothers, Rodney Mitchell and James Mitchell, two sisters, Rhonda Fira and Madge Zbytousky, her step-mother, Vivian Merritt.
Visitation will be 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Bailey Funeral Home
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2020 at Salem Cemetery near Smackover, AR with Rev. Sye Duke officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of El Dorado, AR
