MOUNTAIN VIEW — William Van Luther, 81, of Mountain View died Sept. 28, 1995, at Mountain View. He was born Aug, 21, 1914, in Mountain View to Martin and Veda Stewart Luther.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie McCuistion Luther of the home, to whom he was married 64 years; one daughter, Treva Shaffer or Lincoln; two sisters, Lydia Matthews Crump and Bulah Luttrell, both of Siloam Springs; one grandson, William Van Shaffer, one great-grandson, William Van Shaffer II.
Services will be an 2 p.m. Monday at Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove with the Rev. Phil Misenheimer officiating.
Pallbearers will be Ron Hager, Jack Scroggins, Jack Pergeson, Mark Alexander, Paul (Morph) Pair and Billy Carithers.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
