CALLIS, Polly - "Aunt Polly" Callis, long a resident of Centerton, died at the home of her son, Bone Callis, Monday afternoon. Burial will take place Tuesday afternoon in the Gamble cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Bone and John Callis, both of Centerton. She has lived in Centerton for many years. She was the wife of the late William Callis. Aunt Polly had been in ill health for a long time and very little hopes had been held for her recovery. Her death brought great sadness to many people of Centerton, who had known her for such a long time. She had always been very active in religious work until her recent long illness.
