GRAVETTE — Nellie Lee (Wilhelm) Oxford, 94, passed away peacefully in her home from natural causes on Sept. 1, 2015, in Gravette, Ark., surrounded by her family and friends. Mrs. Oxford was born on Oct. 30, 1920, in Maysville, Okla.

She is preceded in death by her husband Sherman Woodrow Oxford they were married in 1937, he passed away Aug. 10, 2001; one son Larry Joe Oxford and one grandson Dominic Birchfield.

Mrs. Oxford is survived by three daughters Mary Lara of Gravette, Linda Reese and husband David of Gravette and Barbara Smith of Gravette, Ark., Jay Oxford and wife JoAnn of Bella Vista, Ark., Roy Oxford and wife Mavis of Jane, Mo., Ervin Oxford and wife Kristi of Sulphur Springs, Ark., and 13 grandkids and numerous great-grandkids.

All our welcome to attend and celebrate Nellie's life at the First Assembly Church of God in Gravette at 10 a.m. Saturday; Sept. 5. Mrs. Oxford will be buried in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Church. Arrangements by Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
