Harold Loye Troxler, SR, 77 of Springfield, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 3:20 p.m. Harold is the beloved husband of Pat (Purdom) Troxler.
Harold was born on January 18, 1934 in Izard County, Arkansas where he was raised (north central Arkansas). to Carroll and Velma Lawhon Troxler. He has called Springfield, MO home for the last forty years. Harold married Pat Purdom on May 24, 1968. After law school, Harold entered a lifelong career in the insurance business.
Harold is predeceased by his parents; and a son Nick Troxler.
He is survived by his wife Pat; five sons and their wives Loye Troxler (Jenny); Greg Dearien (Patsy); William Troxler (Mary); and Steven Troxler (Tina); one daughter and her husband; Lashell Hall (Greg); one brother Don Troxler; nine grandchildren, Shalena, Shane, Loie, Colton, Brianna, Nachelle, Kate, and Isaac Troxler; and Megan Sanders; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Barren Fork Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Izard County, Arkansas at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Flat Woods Cemetery.
