Robert Elsea, 70, of Bentonville, died Friday, May 2, 1986, at his home.

He was born February 24, 1916 in Tahlequah, Okla and had lived west of Bentonville since 1944, where he farmed. He had worked for the Benton County Road Department for 20 years.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille, of the home; two sons, Nathan Elsea and Dennis Elsea, both of Bentonville; two daughters, Helen Wylie of Gravette and Gladys Ellington of Rogers; four brothers, Buck Elsea and William Elsea, both of Bentonville, Leroy Elsea of Gravette and Wade Elsea of New Orleans; four sisters, Mollie Arnold of Bentonville, Minnie Gailey of Bray, Cal., Millie Lee of Odessa, Tex., and Mamie Reese of Gravette, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant with Eld. Dan Fagala officiating. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

CENTERTON — Edith "Lucille" Elsea, 92, of Centerton, Ark., passed away Monday, Dec. 17, 2018, at Apple Creek Health and Rehab in Centerton. She was born Oct. 27, 1926 in Konawa, Okla., to Robert Lee and Marth Alice (Shipp) Cooper.

She married Robert Andrew Elsea on March 14, 1944.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; son Nathan; sister Geraldine Elsea; brother Arlin Cooper; and her parents.

Lucille worked at home on the farm and gardened until 1986 when she went to work at Krispy Kitchen in Bentonville. She retired from there in 2001. In her later years, she enjoyed quilting, working word search puzzles, studying her Bible and spending time with family. She was a member of Hiwasse First Baptist Church of Hiwasse, Arkansas.

Lucille is survived by daughters Helen Wylie (Glen) of Gravette and Gladys Williamson (Don) of Bentonville; son Dennis Elsea (Stacy) of Farmington; six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren; and many friends, including the special friends who loved and cared for her during her time at Apple Creek Health and Rehab.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m., Dec. 20 at Bella Vista Funeral Home in Bella Vista, Ark. Graveside service (at Lucille's request) with Bro. Bob Metcalf officiating, will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse, Ark., on Friday morning at 10:30, Dec. 21. Online condolences may be made at www.funeralmation.com.
