ROTRAMMEL, Henderson - (from High Top) Mr. and Mrs. Jake Holland and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cox attended the funeral of Mrs. Holland's uncle, Henderson Rotrammel, at Mt. Pleasant Monday. Mr. Rotrammel died in the Hospital for Nervous Diseases at Little Rock last week. He had been there for almost three years.

ROTRAMMEL, Lucinda Jane ROBISON - Mrs. Lucinda J. Rotrammel, wife of Henderson Rotrammel, died Saturday night, July 28th, 1923, aged 82 years, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.H. Daniel. Mrs. Rotrammel has resided in this community since 1857. The funeral was conducted by Joe Fair of Centerton and burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery Sunday afternoon. The News Herald joins with the community in extending sympathy to the bereaved relatives.

Lucinda Jane Robison was born in Macon county, N.C. Dec. 14, 1840; came with her parents to Benton county Nov. 1857, residing near Sulphur Springs until 1864 when the family went to Texas and stayed about two years then came back and settled the home where she lived until about 15 months ago when she moved in with her daughter to be cared for. She was married to R.H. Rotrammel Jan. 24, 1871. To this union were born two children, Sallie and Altha. She accepted Christ as her Savior in her girlhood and united with the M.E. church. She lived a Christian life, was a faithful wife and mother and always ready to help her neighbors when in need. She departed this life July 28, 1923. Besides her invalid husband she leaves one daughter, Mrs. Sallie Daniel, four grandchildren, Stella and Terry Daniel, and Guy and Louemma Barlow, all of Gravette, Ark., and a foster son, H.C. Frazier, of Whitney, Tex. and a number of relatives and friends. One daughter, Mrs. Altha Barlow, and three grandchildren preceded her to the world beyond.- S.C.
