At the home of his step-father, Mr. F. M. Campster, at Monticello, on the evening of Nov. 24. '02, Mr. Abb Townsend departed this life. The deceased was the son of Mr. Abb and Eliza Townsend, (deceased.) Abb Jr.. was born in Nov. 1884. He was 17 years and eleven months old. He was ill only about i8 hours before his death. He leaves many relatives and friends to mourn his death.
We can truly say that he was a model boy. He was unselfish and pure in mind, a loving and devoted friend. He was kind and courteous to all; simple and unaffected in his manners and warm and generous in nature. While his death has caused great grief and regret, his memory will be cherished with lasting affection and regard by his relatives and friends.
He was buried at the Troy grave yard, 9 miles South of Collins, where his parents and relatives are buried.

Two Friends.
