“Well Done Thou Good & Faithful Servant”

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Phil. 6-6

On September 4, 1914 in the town of Tamo, Arkansas, Alnorma Johnson became the daughter of Toy and Alberta Banks Johnson. In her 98th season a well spent life came to an end on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Alnorma was a member of Visitors Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church where she was a member of the Women's Church School Class and a dedicated Stewardess for more than fifty years. She loved preparing the Holy Communion Table. She was known as a classy lady who loved to shop and take care of her flowers. She was always very thankful and grateful.

Those completing the journey before her include her parents; her daughter, Bobbie Jean (Booker) Bryant; grandson, Robert Bryant; a sister, Bernetha Jones and her siblings.

She is survived by her niece, George Jean (Adolphus D.) Allen of Little Rock, AR; cousins, including first cousin, Gladys Banks ( Rev. Douglas E.) Jones of Hot Springs, AR; a host of extended nieces, nephews, family and friends including, Lillie Mae Burns and Jimmy Dendy.

Servant of God, well done, the battle is over and the victory has been won. Until we meet again, farewell, farewell, farewell.

A service of Thanksgiving will be at 12:00 Noon, Monday at Visitors Chapel A.M.E. Church 317 Church Street with Rev. Angela Brewster officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Guest registry is at http://www.carriganmemorial.com

Arrangements are entrusted to Carrigan Memorial Funeral Services.
